KNB was first introduced to 3Palms through Bryan Henson, GM of noteworthy “Green Builder” Allen Associates headquartered in Santa Barbara, California. Allen was finalizing plans to build a LEED Platinum showcase home right on the beach for three time Emmy Award Winner, Bryan Cranston, who is not only a seasoned television and film celebrity but is also very passionate about the environment and using his celebrity status to educate and inform the public about ways to build green without compromising budget, design and quality.
The design, planning and construction of the house and its unique design, green products, renewable energy technologies and features are to be featured in several episodes of a nationally syndicated, major network television show called “Real Green”. This is a perfect scenario for our business model, as KNB has relationships with numerous top quality companies, creating excellent brand association and cross promotional opportunities. KNB facilitates the relationship between the manufacturer and the project team including architect, builder and designer, creating future sales and marketing opportunities. KNB also facilitates events on site for manufacturers to interact with local specifiers, the trades, and consumers. The objective is to provide manufacturers with customer acquisition opportunities and wide exposure utilizing a wide range of onsite and offsite promotional tools. 3Palms is a perfect scenario for this, as it will be among the highest rated LEED Residential projects in the country but will also have wide exposure and publicity.

Working with Bryan Cranston, his designer John Torturro, Architect Larry Graves, Builder Allen Associates and Television Producer Alex Paen has been stimulating, fun and a real privilege.
